Fish Profile,Latest news,Photos

Fish

fish is any member of a para phyletic group of organisms that consist of all gill-bearing aquatic craniate animals that lack limbs with digits. Included in this definition are the living hag fish
, lampreys, and cartilaginous and bony fish, as well as various extinct related groups. Most fish are ectothermic, allowing their body temperatures to vary as ambient temperatures change, though some of the large active swimmers like white shark and tuna can hold a higher core temperature.Fish are abundant in most bodies of water.

Fish do not represent a monophyletic group, and therefore the "evolution of fish" is not studied as a single event.
Fishing is an ancient practice that dates back to at least the beginning of the Paleolithic period about 40,000 years ago.
There are many fishing techniques and tactics for catching fish. The term can also be applied to methods for catching other aquatic animals such as molluscs and edible marine invertebrates.
